Now, I can understand where sacrificing your own happiness for someone else is justified, but when it comes to sacrificing your happiness for someone who only wants you to be happy-well, that's just a conundrum isn't it? I'm beginning to fear that some relationships might crumble because of this. And I'm beginning to learn that it's really very difficult to make everyone happy, but still try to remain happy yourself. I feel that a great deal of happiness is in reach, but so many things are getting in the way. Nor is it going to any place I want it to go. Second of all-I can say with great comfort that history is not repeating itself. Memories, and pictures, and videos are all stored away in safe places. This is a sad reality, but I guess we'll always have the past to look at. We will always remain friends, but obviously time, and different lives will lead us away from each other. I love them so much, and I know we will remain friends for many years to come, but I am a realistic person so I understand what the situation will evidently end up becoming. I know that we were not actually saying "goodbye", in terms of goodbye forever, but when you have spent years of your life with these people they become a part of you. I have grown up with these people, and yes, I know this is a part of life, but saying that doesn't make this any easier. I started the morning in tears, and I am ending it in tears as well. And as dramatic as that sounds, it's very true. I might as well say that I experienced every emotion one could feel in a matter of hours. I am not only physically tired, but emotionally drained. Saber is a writer who focuses on South Asian designers, and you may have seen her on the runways, too. Amrit, who goes by her first name publicly, runs the IG Live show Ask Amrit, which focuses on conversations about sex, love, and dating. Even though I only know Amrit and Saber through social media, I like them already.
